Lexis CourtLink offers a large selection of courts, dockets, and documents, plus alert tools and search features. It contains full and actively updated docket coverage both state and federal courts, including over 1,000 state courts, broad federal court coverage that includes the U.S. Trademark Trials and Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and many others.
You can find Lexis CourtLink by clicking on the 9-dot box on the top left side of the homepage, then clicking on Lexis CourtLink.
You can search Lexis CourtLink a variety of ways:
CourtLink will also retain your most-used searches. Search history, documents viewed, and downloads will be saved for 90 days.
Click on the link to access the docket. You can also narrow results by adding additional keywords, changing jurisdiction, or dates.
CourtLink allows you to tailor your results retrieval by changing the document retrieval settings on the right side of the page. Access individual documents by clicking on free. A pop-up box will ask you which documents you would like to see. Click on view in the Court Document Retrieval pop-up box. There is no fee to pull a document. Not all documents are available on CourtLink. Contact a librarian for any questions.
