Breaking Ground
Campbell University President, Dr. Norman Adrian Wiggins, Supreme Court Justice Louis Meyer, Law School Dean Pat Hetrick, and other dignitaries broke ground in December for a 45,000 square foot addition to the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Construction was to begin during 1991. The $4 million dollar addition to Kivett Hall will double the existing law school by adding new classrooms, library, and administrative areas. Another $1 million in renovations are planned for Kivett Hall after the new building is completed.
Dr. Wiggins and Professor Lynn Buzzard were among those who spoke at the ground breaking. An architect's drawing shows what the completed addition will look like.
