BUIES CREEK - The Campbell College School of Law, now in its third year of operation, has been recommended for provisional accreditation by a committee of the American Bar Association. The committee, acting on findings of an inspection team, voted November 17 to recommend to the association's Council on Legal Education at its meeting December 9 and 10 that Campbell's law school be provisionally approved for accreditation.
Brenda Fowler, Law School at Campbell Gets Okay
In 1979, 83 members of Campbell Law's charter class graduated from the Law School. According to Dean Davis, an estimated 80% were employed prior to graduation.
U.S. Senator Robert Morgan, who spoke three years earlier at the charter class's orientation, spoke again at graduation.
