Information for Submitting Articles to Law Reviews & Journals
The Information for Submitting Articles to Law Reviews and Journals consist of two charts useful for the law review/journal article submission process. The first chart contains information gathered from the journals' websites about the following topics: methods for submitting an article (such as by e-mail, Scholastica, or regular mail); any special formatting requirements; how to request an expedited review; and how to withdraw an article after it has been accepted for publication elsewhere. This article is periodically updated.
Washington and Lee Law Journals Database
This database compiles information from studies that count citations to journals in Westlaw's Law Reviews & Journals database and Westlaw's Cases database (all state and federal cases). Beside rankings, the database provides links to journals' websites and some editorial policies. It does not rank most foreign journals. Also, because its rankings are only based on Westlaw, it will not pick up citations in publications outside law.

Washington and Lee Law Journals Database

Google Scholar Metrics for Law
This list is updated annually and includes the 20 law journals with the highest h-index values based on citation data in Google Scholar. While Google Scholar data is generally more comprehensive than that of proprietary databases, its inclusion of working papers and other gray literature often results in higher citation counts than other platforms. More information about the metrics and coverage is available on the Google Scholar website.
HeinOnline Most Cited Journals
This list of the 100 most cited law journals in HeinOnline is updated monthly and relies on a Bluebook citation analysis of all titles available through the platform. As with Washington & Lee's ranking, this list may not accurately represent the impact of law journals that are heavily cited by scholars in other disciplines due to its reliance on HeinOnline citation data.
