  • Bloomberg Law: you will receive an email from Professor Weeks with your registration code

  • Lexis: you will receive an email from Professor Weeks with your registration code

  • Westlaw: you will receive an email from Thomson Reuters with your registration key

  • CALI: see the column on the right for more information.

If you need help registering for a database,
please contact a librarian.

Off-Campus Database Access

The databases above all require personal logins, but other online resources at Campbell are available through IP recognition and are restricted to the campbell.edu domain. The proxy server allows Campbell faculty, staff, and students to access all the library's web-based resources when off-campus.

How the proxy server works

When you first try to access a database, you will be directed to a login page. Select the Login to Proxy Server button.

Enter your Campbell username and password. After you are authenticated, you will be directed to the database you have chosen.

CALI

CALI (Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction) lessons are interactive tutorials. Lessons are free and are great for mastering material during the semester and/or studying for exams.

The CALI library contains over 1,000 lessons and tutorials in over 45 areas of law including Civil Procedure, Commercial Transactions, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, Evidence, Property, Torts, and Wills and Trusts. These lessons are authored by law professors who are experts in their respective areas of law and are designed to help you understand the basics of the law in those subject areas.
