History of Campbell Law School

1977 - 2L Year

The entering class of 1977 totaled 98 students. Combined with returning 2Ls, Campbell Law School had a total of 185 students. The law school added four new faculty members, including a visiting professor of law, and added training opportunities for second-year students to prosecute misdemeanor cases under the supervision of the district attorney's office in courtrooms in Lee, Harnett, Johnston, Wake, and Cumberland counties. 

The median age for the student body was 26. Enrollment of Women increased 40%. The school awarded 19 partial scholarships and research assistantships.
